Projects

Projects are HVAC installation sites or clusters that can be monitored or controlled using Energy Machines Cloud. When the Portal is opened, it lists the projects the current user can access. Projects: default view. shows the default view on opening the Portal.

The interface consists of three parts:

Top bar

The top bar contains four clickable elements:

Shows the counter of unaddressed alarms. Click to go to Alarms

All sections of the Portal share the same top bar.

Interactive sidebar

The interactive sidebar enables a variety of interactions with the list of the available projects (grouped by type).

Search projects

Basic search by string match.

Toggle cluster

Click on the radio button to the left a project group’s name to toggle between visible and hidden states. When hidden, the entire cluster will be removed from the view and greyed out on the project list.

If expanded, clicking on any project in the cluster will toggle the visible state.

Expand/collapse

Click on the name of a cluster in the list to expand or collapse it.

Show KPIs

Flip the switch to the right of a cluster’s name to show or hide its KPIs. This function is only available in Map view.

Go to project

Click on a project on the sidebar to open its profile (in List view or Grid view) or zoom in and show its widget (in Map view).

Project views

There are three available views:

List view

Grid view

Map view Map view

To select a view, click on its icon at the top of the interactive sidebar to the left. The active view’s icon is highlighted in blue. For details on the sidebar, see Interactive sidebar.

Map view

This is the default view. It shows the available projects and/or their clusters on the map.

For clusters, the map shows the number of sites or subclusters. Click on a cluster to zoom-in. Click on a project on the map or in the sidebar to the left to open its widget.

The widget shows the name of the site and provides links to the project’s HMI and profile. It also shows the project’s type. KPIs are shown in graphs over the selected period, if configured. Five options are available:

  • One hour
  • One day
  • One week
  • One month
  • One year

These readings are updated live and are sampled … . For details on KPIs, see KPI. For details on how to see KPIs cluster-wide, see Show KPIs.

To close the widget, click anywhere outside of it on the map.

Zoom-in and zoom-out on mousewheel is also supported. To reset to default zoom level, click in the upper right corner.

List view

This view shows the list of the available projects sorted alphabetically (no other sorting options are available at the moment). Click on a listed project to open its profile. Click on the button to the right to reveal the option to open HMI.

A small widget to the right shows KPI graphs, if configured, or N/A if not. For details, see KPI.

The icon on top of the project’s pictogram signifies a connection issue; hover over this icon for details.

Grid view

This view shows all projects as tiles on a grid, sorted alphabetically. Click on a tile to open its project’s profile. Click on the button in the upper right corner to reveal the option to open HMI.

Tiles also show KPI graphs, if configured, or N/A if not. For details, see KPI.

The icon on top of the project’s pictogram signifies a connection issue; hover over this icon for details.
