Pages

A page is a highly customizable screen of real-time data on a project. Pages are intended to be viewed in HMI.

Page Editor is an IDE component responsible for creating and editing pages. Go to the View Pages menu of a project, and click on Create new page  Create new page to configure a new page. You can also edit existing pages. The Page Editor consists of three main elements. In the Content Area, you can create different page elements. The Left Panel contains the list of page elements. The Right Panel contains properties of the page and page elements. See the Introduction to Page Editor for details.

EnergyMachines™ pages are created, managed and edited under Pages in the Portal. Permissions for folders and individual Pages can be set. The editor is available by selecting a page.

If you are an administrator of your project, then you can perform the following operations:

  • Select multiple items. To select a particular object, click the checkbox to the left from it. You can select all the documents or pages by clicking the checkbox above the item list.
  • Import one page (  Import page) or multiple page ( Import Pages  Import pages).
  • Download multiple items. Select pages and folders you need to export and click on  Download files.
  • Create pages. Click on Create new page  Create new page to open the Introduction to Page Editor.
  • Add ( Create new folder  Add new folder) and rename ( Rename  Rename) folders.
  • Delete items. Click on  More options button to the right to delete a single folder or page; for multi-deletion, select multiple items and click on Delete  Delete. The confirmation window lists items for deletion so you could check it before removing objects.

A user without administrator’s credentials can only view and download available pages.

Page Templates

A page or folder can be used to create a template for recycling under a different project. To do so, select a page or folder, then click on Create Page Templates.

The ability to create a public page template depends on the user’s access level.
